After last months 10 year anniversary of Urbanista… we have another stockist turning 10! Family Tree have been running since the summer of 2004, selling independently designed homeware, gifts and accessories from all over the world. Originally starting as a location to showcase creations from friends and family, they have grown rapidly to stock a large and brilliant range of products, including of course, Just Trade.
Located in beautiful Exmouth Market (between Islington and the City) Family Tree are surrounded by fellow independent design shops, boutiques and cute cafes.. a perfect place to visit for a shopping fix.
Takako (the very lovely owner) tries to keep to 4 keywords in terms of picking items for the store are Craft, Local, Ethical and Design.
The wonderful thing about Family Tree is they design and make their own lines of lighting, furniture, stationary, knit wear and jewellery all inspired by their English and Japanese backgrounds! Such busy bees!
