Folklore Single Heart Decoration

These Scandi-inspired designs pay tribute to the Swedish NGO that first introduced textile training to the “widow village” of Thanapara in the 1970s. Each piece is made from hand-loomed, hand-dyed cotton and finished with simple hand-embroidered motifs.

This thoughtfully handcrafted collection is made by the women of Thanapara Swallows, a Guaranteed Member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Based in rural Bangladesh, the organization provides training and sustainable employment to around 300 women, offering meaningful, dignified work that supports family life.
