Along with fruit-themed tagua nut necklaces from Ecuador and jewellery from India which

celebrates the great outdoors, gardening and a good old brew, our new collection of ethically

produced accessories also features hand-crocheted cotton flower and bumblebee brooches from Peru and purses embroidered with honeybees and wheelbarrows from Vietnam.

Once again, Just Trade’s partnership with the projects based in these countries not only allows for collaborative design decisions which best utilise each maker’s skillset all whilst meeting Laura Ashley's brief, it also enables us to honour our commitment to providing the artisans with opportunities and support to improve their lives.

The team we work with in Vietnam

Ultimately, each and every fair trade accessory in the new range is a product of encouragement,

opportunity and dedication which we like to think not only looks good but does good. And that’s

pretty blooming marvellous.

The full range is available in store & at www.lauraashley.com

Girls’ education in India is the foundation for building a stronger, more equal society. It not only empowers young women with knowledge and skills but also helps reduce poverty, improve health outcomes, and promote gender equality. Despite progress, many girls still face barriers like poverty, child marriage, and lack of access to schools. Government schemes and NGOs are working tirelessly to ensure every girl has the opportunity to learn and thrive. Investing in girls’ education is investing in the nation’s future, as educated women uplift families, communities, and generations.
