SOT Bird #2 Brooch
This collection has been designed by Just Trade in collaboration with award winning author and illustrator Coralie Bickford-Smith.
These tagua brooches are individually hand carved from a tagua nut, a seed from a type of palm that grows in the South American rainforests. Often known as vegetable ivory, tagua is an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to animal ivory.
Hand carved by Olga and Elisa of the Yurac Muyo Project in Quito, Ecuador.
This product comes packaged in a Just Trade gift bag and includes information about the makers behind the piece. Each bag is handmade by our makers in Vietnam using scrap fabric. (The fabric design may vary)
