I normally stock up on Fairtrade chocolate when I do my weekly shop, but I’d had a rather chocolaty week last week so we had run out. Disaster! I was having a chocolate emergency, so popped into our local corner shop, but alas, they had no Fairtrade chocolate! I asked our friendly owners if they would stock some fair trade chocolate, but they had never heard of Fairtrade, so I thought I would show them what I was on about.You can order free “stock-it” Fairtrade leaflets to give to shop owners from the fair trade foundation. They’ll post you a bundle and you can join me in encouraging more corner shops, cash and carry’s, and petrol stations to stock Fairtrade.
